So this is my first journal entry! If this ends up sound or looking weird, blame me for not experimenting with this sooner! XD

Now, I've been largely inactive on DA for a while and that's due to personal priorities that come before artwork. Well, that and the fact that all my art supplies have been disappearing for a while now...First my watercolors, then my pencils, my good color pencils...I think I actually only have the entirety of my paints and copics left!

But I am, however, entering the fanart contest hosted by Her Universe and Fan Factory in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Kiki's Delivery Service. I got the email and figured might as well take a chance...

I have submitted 7 pieces and I've also posted those 7 pieces here. I don't know which of those pieces will be chosen after the screening process, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for at least two of the seven. You can take a look at them in my gallery since it'll be a while before anything, if at all, shows up on the contest site. Heck, none of them turned out quite as well as I'd have liked since my pens were drying out and the only coloured pencils I had left were crayolas which don't quite lay down smoothly on the paper I had...
